About Us
D'Angelo Smith (DeeKage)
Originally from Ellenwood, GA, D'Angelo has been living in the greater Sacramento area for roughly 12 years and has settled down in Antelope. He loves anime, manga, dominoes, spades, board games, music and the Philadelphia Eagles. Often described as an introvert cosplaying as an extrovert. He enjoys social interactions, but needs a secluded corner to retreat and recharge his social battery.
Since COVID, he, like many others, have been working from home and found the days passing at dizzying speeds as work and personal life seamlessly merged. My business partner Ray, and then 8 year consecutive bowling partner, had begun hosting dominoes nights in his garage. This weekly meeting provided a healthy and meaningful way to fellowship with like minded individuals for all parties involved.
Then they thought of those who, like them , could also benefit mentally and physically from a place like that. Thus the creation of Hidden Village Social Club. I hope it brings you as much peace as it has brought us.
Ray Harrington Jr (RayKage)
A Sacramento Native, Ray Harrington Jr. has always displayed a passion to impact the community. An extrovert’s extrovert, Ray has always enjoyed social events, gatherings and any other outing.
When COVID struck as well as the responsibility of parenthood, Ray pivoted to more intimate, home-based events. Ray’s love for hospitality and games led to ‘weekends in the garage’ where card and table games were featured; guests were encouraged to bring their own food & drinks to be shared by all. Deep conversations were organically conducted, laughs were infectious and the competition of games and trash talk overflowed.
As ‘weekends in the garage’ became a consistent escape from the regular grind, aka 3rd place, Ray and his now business partner, D’Angelo, began working on extending this garage concept into a commercial space. Hidden Village Social Club embodies the concept of community through social gatherings!!
